Evaluation of UNHCR's prepardness and response to the Kosovo refugee emergency

Astri Suhrke at CMI led a major evaluation of UNHCR´s response to the Kosovo refugee crisis in 1999. UNHCR had commissioned an international team of independent experts to make a comprehensive examination of the international response to the crisis with a focus on UNHCR´s role. The work started in September 1999 and the report was submitted in March 2000. The report, "The Kosovo refugee crisis: An evaluation of UNHCR's Preparedness and Response", was presented to the Executive Committee of UNHCR in Geneva in February 2000.
