'Opitanha' revisited. Assessing the implications of PARPA II in rural northern Mozambique 2006-2009

Este relatório é parte de um exercício amplo de monitoramento e avaliação da estratégia de redução de pobreza de Moçambique, com foco em três distritos e usando dados qualitativos e quantitativos. No relatório, são analisadas a constituição e as dinâmicas de pobreza e bem-estar no distrito rural de Murrupula, na provincial de Nampula. O estudo foi realizado através de novas visitas a 4 comunidades locais e um total de 120 agregados familiars, 3 anos após nossa visita inicial em 2006. Ainda que hajam alguns avanços em temas de governação local, infraestrutura física e opções de mercados agrícolas, essas melhorias beneficiaram os que já se encontravam em melhor situação e tiveram poucas implicações para os mais pobres.
