Political scientist (international relations) focusing on corruption and its mitigation, with a particular interest in corruption and natural resource management. Aled joined U4/CMI from the anti-corruption NGO, Transparency International (TI), based in Berlin, where he formed part of the policy and research team. His experience includes coordinating thematic research in collaboration with TI National Chapters and resource persons, for example on corruption mitigation in humanitarian relief operations. He has undertaken assignments in Cambodia, Chile, Indonesia, Macedonia, Pakistan, South Africa, and South Korea. He holds an M.A. in International Relations from the University of Kent at Canterbury in the United Kingdom.
