The former UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator, Jan Egeland has recently been appointed Special Envoy of the Secretary General for Conflict Resolution. CMI is very pleased that he will come to CMI and talk about the current challenges and opportunities for the UN.
The Chr.Michelsen Lecture is an annual event and part of the CMI annual meeting. At this year's meeting State Secretary Raymond Johansen will also participate and present the UN Forum.
