Does a regional organization like SADC has any comparative advantages in implementing Aid for Trade measures? Many constraints for increasing trade are regional in character and a regional organization as SADC might address these better than other institutions.

 Aid for Trade has recently been a popular slogan. Regional organizations like SADC may represent important intermediaries of Aid for Trade as many trade barriers are regional in character (related to infrastructural bottlenecks).  SADC represent a promising avenue of exploring this topic as this organization for a long period has been dealing with infrastructure support, an important part of Aid for Trade measure.
