Fredskorpset is a Norwegian government agency established to promote and fund exchange of young professionals and volunteers between Norway and developing countries (North-South) and between developing countries (South-South).

This evaluation is commissioned by Norad's evaluation department. The purpose is (1) to evaluate the overall appproach of Fredskorpset in light of international research knowledge on how best to develop and strengthen civil society in developing countries; and (2) to use the findings to identify options for future adjustments and changes in Fredskorpset's policies, programmes and operations, if required.
