Emma Jørums latest book, Beyond Syria's Borders is released

Dr. Emma Jørums book Beyond Syria's Borders: A History of Territorial Disputes in the Middle East dealing with Syrian policies regarding territories lost has been released on I.B Tauris. The book goes beyond todays Syria to look at how some territorial losses are higlighted where others are pushed aside. In doing so Jørum looks at the Syrian relationship to some of its neighbours, as well as processes of statebuilding and nationalism.
