Global challenges affect us all. Shaped by some of Bergen's best research groups, every year the Bergen Summer Research School tackles some of the most pressing challenges facing the world.
June 11-21, 2018 at the University of Bergen
Six courses will focus on priority settings in global health; global food insecurity; cultural heritage in the digital age; food security and the oceans, rights as political tools; and ecology and ethics. The courses are tied together by common sessions on cross-disciplanary issues, research tools, writing and presentation skills, keynotes by high-profile researchers, plenary discussions, and an excursion into the Norwegian waterscape.
