Documenting human rights violations is one of the fundamental tasks of human rights work. But research and documentation is often not enough to do justice to the moral sense of human rights -- we must seek channels that communicate in powerful ways, moving hearts as well as minds. Documentaries and filmmaking are powerful tools, but how can research, activism and filmmaking work together to move forward human rights work?
