Siri Gloppen New Head of Rafto Prize Committee

Siri Gloppen has been a member of the Rafto Prize Committee since 2002. 

Ms. Gloppen has extensive experience with international research. She is Research Director for Rights, Democracy and Development and also Professor at the Institute of Comparative Politics, University of Bergen. Ms. Gloppen's specialist areas are policy analysis, democratisation, human rights, rule of law, civil society and institutional change with a particular focus on Eastern and Southern Africa.

Research Director for Peace, Conflict and the State,  Arne Strand, is a new member of the Prize Committee.
