Political Corruption and Democracy- the Role of Development Assistance
This report comprises the edited versions of contributions commissioned specifically for the first day of the conference Violent Conflicts and Democracy Promotion - Risks and Opportunities, as well as presentations and short summaries of workshop discussions held on the second day. The conference took place on April 7-8, 2005, and was arranged by the Collegium for Development Studies in cooperation with Sida. It was planned and carried out as a follow-up of similar conferences on related themes held 2002 and 2003, bringing together researchers and practitioners in the field.
