    Global Moments Levant is an interdisciplinary team effort to understand long-term and contemporary adaptational structures of peoples, cultures and states located in an intercontinental contact zone-in this case the Levant. The collaboration includes inputs from prehistoric archaeology, historical archaeology, historical geography, history, Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies, social anthropology, sociology and development studies (Project leader: Leif Manger, UiB).
