This paper identifies the major environmental issues in Mozambique under the present conditions of war and economic crisis, which differ considerably from most African countries. Secondly, it specifies those sectors and interventions where the Norwegian aid programme have a greater environmental impact, and makes recommendations for action or further impact studies
