Felix Tawiah Ayittah
Master's student in Geographies of Sustainable Development
Felix is a student in the master’s program pursuing an MPhil in Geographies of Sustainable Development at the University of Bergen, specializing in the intersections of climate change and natural resource management.
His research interests encompass Political Ecology, Geopolitics, Climate Change, Small-Scale Fisheries, and Natural Resource Management. Prior to his master’s degree, Felix earned a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Resource Development from the University of Ghana, where he also worked as a Research Assistant.
For his master’s thesis, Felix is exploring the adaptation strategies utilized by small-scale fishery actors in response to the impacts of climate change. Through this work, Felix aims to document the adaptive strategies employed by small-scale fishery actors in Ghana to navigate climate-related challenges.
During his placement, Felix will work under the mentorship of Edyta Rozko and will be part of the Climate and Natural Resources research group.
