Kaoma Kaoma

Master's student specializing in Gender Studies and interning with the Rights Act project

Kaoma is a master’s student in Global Development with a specialization in Gender at University of Bergen (UIB). 

Her Master's thesis, "The Portrayal of Men & Masculinities in TV Dramas: A comparative Study Between Tanzania & Zambia, "explores how media narratives shape and reflect gender roles in African societies. 

Passionate about human rights and gender equality, she combines academic research with practical engagement to contribute to inclusive development.

Nuria and Kaoma will be writing their master's thesis together. 

Kaoma is an intern with the Rights Act project and her mentor is Liv Tønnessen.
