The U4 Anti-Corruption Resource Centre has recently launched a new focus area on Public Financial Management (PFM). This workshop brings together experts and specialists from the U4 development agencies, practitioners and development researchers, to discuss the main challenges related to corruption and PFM. Three main themes will be explored at the workshop;

i) understanding and tackling corruption in budget processes,
ii) corruption in the context of budget support, and
iii) revenues and corruption.

The aims of the workshop are:

i) to identify and discuss challenges, relevant tools, and appropriate policy responses,
ii) to facilitate a dialogue between development practitioners and researchers, and
iii) to provide concrete input to the U4 PFM team, who will develop issue papers on each of the three themes, to be published on the U4 website.
