Presentation of Evaluation Report

Building Blocks for Peace
An Evaluation of the Training for Peace in Africa Programme

The Training for Peace in Africa programme was launched in 1995. The current phase is coming to an end in 2015. What lessons can be learned from the programme’s effort to build sustainable African capacity for peace operations? The evaluation’s findings, conclusions and recommendations will be presented by the evaluation team from Christian Michelsen Institute/CMI (Norway) in collaboration with Itad (UK), and discussed by the programmes’ partners in dialogue with representatives from the African Union and the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
