Mark Weisbrot is the co-founder and co-director of the Center for Economic and Policy Research in Washington DC, President of Just Foreign Policy, weekly commentator in The Guardian Unlimited (UK) and syndicated columnist in more than 550 newspapers across the world, Mark Weisbrot is an outspoken voice on international development policies and US politics at home and abroad. He is a specialist on Latin America and received his PhD in economics from the University of Michigan.
