The seminar discussed investment climate in partner countries, World Bank strategies and thinking and the Norwegian government's infrastructure initiatives in its developmetn aid. Main focus was on the trasport sector, especially maritime transport. There was also be discussions of experiences with recent surveys on factors hindering investments in our partner countries.
Central senior World Bank staff and people from the Norwegian reference group for the new trustfund for private sector and infrastructure participated in the seminar. The aim of the seminar was to make the Bank aware of Norwegian competence and to promote Norwegian participation in studies and project-programmes.
