The Swedish support to civil society in Mozambique is channelled through the programme AGIR (Programa de Acções para uma Governação Inclusiva e Responsável) in which four international CSOs (Diakonia, Oxfam Ibis, Oxfam Novib and We Effect) act as intermediary partner organisations with a common overall objective to support local Mozambican partner organisations. The programme has also been funded by Denmark and the Netherlands. The first phase of the programme started in 2010, the current ongoing second phase covers six years (December 2014- December 2020). This mid-term evaluation covers the first three years of the second phase. The programme currently provides support to 108 partner organisations - 59 core partners and 49 project partners (small projects). The total budget for the second phase is 862.5 Mill SEK
