Country advisor to NORAD on Bangladesh
The project is part of the Country Reporting Agreement between NORAD, CMI and the Nordic Consulting Group (NCG). The annual report consists of a Part I which synthesises and assesses existing information regarding economic, political and social developments in Bangladesh, and a Part II which focuses on topics of relevance for Norwegian development aid specified by NORAD. In 1999/2000 the topic was "Poverty and public expenditure." In 2000/2001 it was "A review of the energy sector". In addition to the Annual Report, CMI is expected to be on call for advice related to Bangladesh.
