Muwatin, the Palestinian Institute for the Study of Democracy, is a leading research institute, think-tank, and lobbyist on democracy in Palestine. The second phase of the institutional co-operation agreement (financed by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs) included comparative research on democratisation, political parties and social movements, as well as an instituional development component for Muwatin (infrastructure, library, exchange visits).
