South Africa’s planned development aid agency, South African Development Partnership Agency, is expected to be established in 2013. This report assess South Africas current role as provider of development aid to other African countries. This is assessed partly against Western development aid agencies, but primarily through a comparision with other main South powers - China, India and Brazil.
