This project was an evaluation of the released prisoners' project in Rwanda, a project financed and facilitated by the Norwegian Church Aid. The project involved a number of different local partner organisations and initiatives. A focus of the project, which started in 1999, was to help those who were imprisoned after the 1994 genocide in Rwanda to reintegrate into society once they were released. Reconciliation and inter-faith dialogue were other key objectives. The evaluation involved fieldwork in Rwanda in early 2005.
