MOPAN: Report from the 2003 Pilot Exercise

CMI was engaged early 2002 by the Multilateral Organisations Performance Assessment Network to assist preparing and testing a methodology for monitoring the performance of multilateral organisations. MOPAN is an informal network of like-minded donors, including Canada, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK. The pilot phase focused on support for national policies and institutions, participation in aid coordination activities and other partnershipsin the health sector in eight countries. The report (published by CMI) will inform a decision in early 2004 on how to conduct regular MOPAN studies.
