This presentation focused on the battles of Neretva (January-March 1943) & Sutjeska (May-June 1943) from the perspective of the members of the Theatre of the People’s Liberation (Kazalište narodnog oslobođenja). By contrasting the plain facts of the partisan reality during the two battles with the fragments of the memories of individuals who participated in them, its intention was to illustrate the affective potential of the partisan theatrical activism and highlight some sensory experiences of theatre and the range of feelings and affects that arise in concrete circumstances.
