This article traces the relationship between the Eternit camp, established to house victims of the 1955 flood in Tripoli, and the National Housing Program in Lebanon, designed by Doxiadis's partners. Based on sources in the archives of Constantinos A. Doxiadis in Athens, Greece, this article details how the “new neighborhood” in Tripoli was conceived and how it collapsed.
