Environmental scientist focusing on socio-ecological change in South Asia.
Hanna is a doctoral researcher at CMI within the NFR (NORGLOBAL) project, "Prioritising the Displacement-Environment Nexus: Refugee and IDP Settlements as Social- Ecological Systems."
Hanna holds an M.Sc. in Environmental and Sustainability Studies from Lund University in Sweden. In her master's thesis, she analysed dimensions of power and justice in the construction of an international airport in southern Nepal. Before moving to Sweden, she spent several years in India and Nepal, where she also completed her B.Sc. in Environmental Science at Kathmandu University.
