Just Faaland's work shaped both Norwegian and international development policy for decades. 30 years old, he was called to become a member of CMI. As Director at CMI for 28 years, he made the institute a cornerstone for Norwegian development research. 

Just Faaland passed away in February, 95 years old. On November 28 at 1 p.m., we launch the book 'Just Faaland: En verdensborger i Bergen', a tribute to our former Director.
