Anthropologist focusing on public health, gender, foreign investements, and political processes at the local level in East Africa
Anthropologist with more than 20 years of experience from research and commissioned work in East Africa. Research interests include public health, gender, and foreign investments - with a special focus on political processes and participation at the local level. Lange has spent all together five years in Tanzania and is fluent in colloquial Swahili. Lange had a full time position at CMI from 2002 - 2017, and is currently an affiliated researcher (main position at the HEMIL centre, University of Bergen).
